The PROTECTOR 485 Series is a robust mortice sash lock designed for commercial and residential doors, particularly those with narrow stiles. This lock combines a latch and a deadbolt function within a single body, providing both convenient latching and key security. A key feature is its short 25mm backset, which makes it ideal for installation in aluminium, steel, or other narrow-profile doors. The lock has an 85mm pitch, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of standard door furniture. Operated by a lever handle and a Euro profile cylinder (sold separately), the lock's reversible latch bolt allows it to be used on both left and right-hand doors. The faceplate is finished in a durable Satin Stainless Steel (SSF), providing excellent corrosion resistance and a modern, clean aesthetic.
