The PROTECTOR 748 Series is a high-quality Euro cylinder mortice sash lock designed for commercial and residential doors. This lock combines both a latch and a deadbolt function within a single body, providing both convenient latching and key security. A key feature is its 48mm pitch, which is the distance between the handle spindle and the cylinder, making it suitable for a variety of door furniture. The lock has a 58mm backset, which is the distance from the faceplate to the centre of the keyhole. Operated by a lever handle and a Euro profile cylinder (sold separately), the lock's reversible latch bolt allows it to be used on both left and right-hand doors. The faceplate is finished in a durable and classic Satin Brass (SBF), providing excellent corrosion resistance and a timeless aesthetic
