Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Cali different from other cabinet handles?
The Cali is the slimmest cabinet pull in the Iver range at just 9mm wide — an ultra-slim square-profile bar with sharp 90-degree edges and flat square block ends. This blade-like precision makes it a standout choice for high-end contemporary kitchens, flat-front slab-door cabinetry and bathroom vanities where a minimal hardware footprint is important. It sits flush and sharp against any surface, adding a refined architectural detail without visual weight.
What is the difference between the backplate and non-backplate version?
Both versions use the same Cali cabinet pull handle. The difference is purely visual:
- Without backplate — the handle mounts directly onto the cabinet surface. The slim square profile and block ends are the sole design element. Best for high-end contemporary and minimalist cabinetry.
- With backplate — a matching decorative backplate frames the handle, conceals the fixing holes and adds a more layered finish without compromising the Cali's slim character. Best for premium joinery and furniture applications.

What is a cabinet pull handle?
A cabinet pull handle is a fixed grip mounted to a cabinet door or drawer front, used to open and close it by pulling. Unlike a door lever, it has no latch mechanism — it is purely a handling and decorative feature. Cabinet pulls are particularly useful on larger cabinet doors and drawers where a small knob would not provide enough grip.
Which size should I choose?
The Cali is sized by centre-to-centre (CTC) — the distance between the two fixing holes. Match the CTC to your existing holes or planned door preparation:
- 96mm CTC — small drawers, bathroom vanity drawers and compact cabinet doors
- 128mm CTC — standard drawers and narrow cabinet doors
- 160mm CTC — wide drawers and medium cabinet doors
- 256mm CTC — large cabinet doors, pantry doors and integrated appliance panels
If replacing an existing handle, measure the distance between your current fixing holes before ordering. Contact us if you need help choosing the right size.
How is it fixed to the cabinet?
The Cali cabinet pull is rear fixed — the bolts pass through from the back of the cabinet door or drawer front and thread into the handle from behind. This gives a clean front face with no visible screws. Two bolt lengths are supplied: M4 x 25mm for standard cabinet doors and M4 x 45mm for thicker panels. For the backplate version, the backplate sits flush on the front face concealing the fixing holes.
Can I use this on integrated appliance panels?
Yes, but for integrated appliance drawers, doors or larger cupboards we recommend adding a spring washer and stainless-steel screw for added durability due to the additional weight and frequency of use. These are not supplied with the handle — they are available from most hardware stores.
What material is the handle made from?
The Cali cabinet pull is crafted from solid brass. This gives it a substantial, premium feel despite its slim profile, and ensures it won't rust or corrode over time — unlike cheaper zinc-alloy alternatives. The solid brass core is then finished in your chosen surface treatment (e.g. Matt Black, Brushed Brass, Polished Chrome).
What finishes are available?
The Cali cabinet pull is available in 7 finishes: Brushed Brass, Brushed Chrome, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Nickel and Signature Brass. Both the standard and backplate versions are available in all 7 finishes. If you're unsure which finish suits your cabinetry, contact us — we're happy to help.
Is it sold as a single handle or a pack?
The Cali cabinet pull is sold as a single handle. For a full kitchen or joinery project, order the quantity you need. Contact us if you're ordering in volume and we can assist.
