The Kilargo IS7071si is a versatile twin-fin seal for door perimeters and meeting stiles – on single-swing and double-swing door pairs. Two seals can share one stile with space for a latch between them, surface-mounted (5–7 mm gaps) or rebated (2–4 mm), delivering excellent acoustic, smoke, light, dust and weather sealing.

Smoke sealing — BCA/NCC Specification C3.4. Conforms with Building Code of Australia (NCC) Specification C3.4 smoke sealing requirements. Smoke — not flame — is the biggest killer in building fires, and C3.4 sets out how door gaps must be sealed so escape routes stay clear of smoke.

Can the IS7071si be used on double-action (swing-through) doors?

Yes - that's its speciality. The symmetrical twin-fin gasket seals the stile gap in both directions of swing, which one-directional astragals cannot do.

What meeting-stile gap does the IS7071si suit?

Do I need a door sequence selector with an astragal seal?

If both leaves of the pair are active (both open), yes - a door sequence selector should be considered so the leaves always close in the correct order over the astragal. If one leaf is fixed shut, it isn't required.
