What is the Carbine LB Residential Series Standard Cylinder and Turn Deadbolt?
It is a Carbine deadbolt, finished in satin stainless steel.
What's the difference between passage, privacy and entrance?
Passage: The latch operates from both sides at all times and does not lock. Ideal for hallways, walk-in robes, linen cupboards and other doors that don't need privacy or security. Privacy: Locks from the inside with a turn or push button, with an emergency release on the outside. Designed for bathrooms, ensuites and bedrooms. Entrance: Key-lockable from the outside and released by a turn or button on the inside. Suited to main entry doors and any door that needs keyed security.
What backset does it need?
It has a 70mm backset — the distance from the door edge to the centre of the hole. Check your door preparation matches before ordering.
How is it keyed?
Supplied keyed alike. Keyed to Differ means each lock has its own key; Keyed Alike means matching locks share one key.
What finish is it?
This listing is satin stainless steel. Other finishes are available as separate listings.
What warranty does it come with, and how do I care for it?
Carbine locksets are covered by a 12-month mechanical warranty under normal use when correctly installed. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners to protect the finish.
