The Dormakaba TS68 BC is a reliable, overhead surface-mounted door closer designed for light-to-medium-duty applications in both residential and commercial environments. This economic and versatile closer features a non-handed design, making it suitable for universal mounting on both left and right-handed doors. The closing force is adjustable between EN2 and EN4, allowing it to be configured for a wide range of doors up to 1100mm wide and 80kg in weight. The unit includes two separate valves for precise adjustment of closing and latching speeds. It also features a built-in hydraulic backcheck (BC) function, which provides a cushioning effect to prevent the door from being flung open violently. Finished in a durable Silver (SIL) powder coat, this door closer is also fire-rated, making it a safe and compliant choice for a variety of fire and smoke protection doors.
Description
The DORMA TS68 closer is non-handed closer suitable for all common doors and does not require a mounting backplate. With adjustable closing speed of 180° - 15° and 15° - 0° via 2 separate valves. Uses a standard arm.
Suitable for installation on doors up to 1100mm (W).
Approved to AS1905 Part 1 fire resistant doors (backcheck model only).
Finished in silver.
