The Dormakaba Hold Open Device is an optional accessory designed to be retrofitted to Dormakaba's TS91, TS92, and TS93 series door closers with a slide rail G-N channel. This simple, mechanical device is not a component of the closer itself but is a friction-based unit that slides into the channel on the closer's arm. It provides a convenient hold-open function, allowing a door to be manually held open at a desired position until it is manually pushed closed. This device is ideal for use on non-fire-rated doors in high-traffic areas or where temporary hold-open is required for ventilation or moving goods. It is essential to note that this mechanical hold-open device is not compliant for use on fire and smoke protection doors.
Description
The DORMA RF is a non-handed mechanical hold-open unit.
The hold-open unit can be switched on and off by the user as required, and the pull-off force can be adjusted to suit each individual door situation.
The DORMA RF hold-open unit can also be supplied for retrofitting to the slide channel at a later date.
Hold open is not suitable for fire or smoke doors.
Suitable for TS91, TS92 & TS93 door closers.
