What It's Used For

The Flexi-Wing is the fastest way to seal a door frame perimeter – hotels, apartments, offices and fire door upgrade programs – because it self-adheres into the frame rebate with the door still hung. It's widely used alongside Kilargo intumescent fire seals and automatic bottom seals in complete doorset systems.

Ensure contact surfaces are clean and any paint fully cured before application; choose IS1212 for 2–3mm door clearances and IS1515 for 4–5mm.

How do I choose between IS1212 and IS1515?

Measure the clearance between the closed door leaf and the frame rebate: 2-3mm suits the IS1212, 4-5mm suits the IS1515. If your gaps vary side to side, call Prime Hardware on 1800 329 028 and we'll help you pick.

Does installing the Flexi-Wing require removing the door?

No. The seal presses into the frame rebate using its self-adhesive backing with the door still on its hinges. Just make sure surfaces are clean, dry and any paint is well cured so the adhesive bonds permanently.
