The Kilargo IS3080si is a sweep-action blade seal with a high-performance silicone fin, fitted to the door bottoms of outward-opening doors – and equally useful as a meeting stile seal on door pairs. It seals against ambient and medium temperature smoke, sound, dust, light, insects and weather, with slotted fixing holes for accurate gap adjustment.

What It's Used For

Outward-opening external doors are hard to seal because the threshold detail faces the weather – the IS3080si solves this with a flexible fin that sweeps closed against the sill as the door shuts. Use it on fire stairs, egress doors, plant rooms and service doors.

Its fire test approval also lets it serve on fire-rated doorsets, and the same profile seals meeting stiles on double doors.

Acoustic tested — AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 — the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Why is the IS3080si recommended for outward-opening doors?

When a door opens outward, drop seals and rebated seals often clash with the threshold detail. The IS3080si's angled silicone fin mounts on the door face and sweeps closed against the sill or threshold as the door shuts - simple, weatherproof and fire tested.

How is it installed?

Fixing screws are supplied with detailed fitting instructions, and the fixing holes are pre-drilled (and slotted where applicable) so the seal can be positioned and adjusted accurately against the floor or threshold before final tightening.

What lengths are available?

Standard lengths are 1000mm and 2250mm, with 250mm increments available from 1000mm to 5000mm. Seals can be cut down on site for an exact door width.
