The Kilargo IS4100 is a 42.5 mm threshold plate with a snap-fit screw cover plate that conceals all fixings. Used with the IS3070si door bottom seal, it prevents rain, draughts, light and vermin penetration, and its vinyl insert stops moisture tracking under the threshold.

The IS4100 is the matching threshold for the IS3070si door bottom seal – together they form the IS3100si weather sealing set for external doors exposed to rain, draughts and insects.

Does a threshold plate seal the door by itself?
A threshold plate provides the hard, flat (or ramped) sealing surface at the floor - it works together with a Kilargo door bottom seal (automatic drop seal or sweep seal) that closes onto it. The plate stops water tracking under the sill and gives the seal a consistent surface, and the pair together block rain, draughts, smoke and noise.
How is the threshold plate fixed down?
Stainless steel fixing screws and plugs are supplied. Alternatively, most Kilargo thresholds can be bedded in builder's adhesive for a concealed fixing. PVC bedding pads (where supplied) go underneath to eliminate vibration, noise and moisture ingress beneath the plate.
What lengths does the IS4100 come in?
Standard lengths are 1000mm and 2250mm, and it can be ordered in 250mm increments from 1000mm to 5000mm. Plates can also be cut down on site for an exact doorway fit.
