What's the difference between the IS4220si and IS4226si?

Both are 125mm bulb-seal thresholds for outward-opening doors. The IS4226si adds an extended landing area engineered for high-end acoustic doorsets, and appears in Kilargo's tested acoustic sealing systems; the IS4220si is the general-purpose panic threshold.

Can the silicone bulb be replaced when it wears?

Yes - order the Kilargo ISRG-4226si replacement gasket and press it in to restore as-new sealing.

How is the threshold plate fixed down?

Stainless steel fixing screws and plugs are supplied. Alternatively, most Kilargo thresholds can be bedded in builder's adhesive for a concealed fixing. PVC bedding pads (where supplied) go underneath to eliminate vibration, noise and moisture ingress beneath the plate.

What lengths does the IS4226si come in?

Standard lengths are 1000mm and 2250mm, and it can be ordered in 250mm increments from 1000mm to 5000mm. Plates can also be cut down on site for an exact doorway fit.
