The Kilargo IS5115B is a 19mm black nylon brush insert – the replacement brush strip for the Kilargo IS5115 brush seal carrier (or for mortising directly into a groove). Slide out the worn brush, slide in the new one, and the seal performs like the day it was installed.

What It's Used For

Brush filaments wear with traffic – replacing the insert (not the whole seal) is the economical fix. Use the IS5115B to re-brush existing IS5115 carriers on garage, roller, swing and commercial doors.

It can also be fitted brush-only into a machined groove in timber or aluminium doors and windows.

How do I fit the IS5115B insert?

Slide the worn brush strip out of the end of the carrier, then feed in the new insert with a slight kink along its length so it grips (interference fit). For brush-only installation, mortise a nominal 3mm wide x 4mm deep groove and press the strip in.
