The Kilargo IS5175A is an angled brush seal with a 45° aluminium carrier, designed to close the perimeter gaps of roller and tilt-up door perimeters. Fitted with 25mm black nylon brush as standard (13mm, 19mm and 50mm available), it blocks draughts, dust, insects and wind-blown weather.

What It's Used For

Use the IS5175A where the sealing surfaces are offset or perpendicular – the angled carrier lets the brush reach the gap that a flat-mounted seal can't. Typical on roller and tilt-up door perimeters in garages, warehouses, loading docks and commercial buildings.

The brush insert is replaceable, so the seal can be re-brushed in service rather than replaced.

Which brush size should I order?

25mm is standard and suits most perimeter gaps; 13mm and 19mm suit tighter clearances and 50mm (on request) bridges the largest. Measure the gap between door and frame/wall - the brush should overlap the gap by roughly a third for lasting contact.

Can the brush be replaced later?

Yes - the nylon brush strip slides out of the angled carrier and a new insert slides in, so re-brushing takes minutes.

What lengths are available?

Standard lengths are 1000mm and 2250mm, with 250mm increments available from 1000mm to 3000mm. Seals can be cut down on site for an exact door width.
