The Kilargo IS6030 is a compact magnetic seal for the head and jambs of metal-clad door perimeters – and their meeting stiles – fitted in lieu of door stops. The refrigeration-type magnetic gasket grips the steel face with enough strength that latches may not be required.

What It's Used For

Choose the IS6030 where the full-size IS6015 won't fit – compact steel doorsets, coolroom and freezer doors, industrial enclosures and acoustic metal doors. The magnetic gasket pulls the door flat and seals continuously along the frame.

Use it on meeting stiles of steel pairs too (ordered as polarity-matched pairs).

Acoustic tested — AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 — the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.

Not a fire seal. This product is not a fire-rated seal. It is designed for acoustic, draught and dust sealing on steel-clad and metal door assemblies. If your door is a fire door, pair it with (or choose) a Kilargo intumescent fire seal tested to AS 1530.4.

What's the difference between the IS6015 and IS6030?

Both are magnetic seals for steel-clad doors. The IS6030 is the compact version for tighter frame details, and is equally happy on perimeters or meeting stiles; the IS6015 is the full-size perimeter profile.

Why order meeting-stile seals as pairs?

The two seals' magnet polarities must attract each other - ordering as a specified PAIR guarantees correct orientation.

What lengths are available?

Standard lengths are 1000mm and 2250mm, with 250mm increments available from 1000mm to 3000mm. Seals can be cut down on site for an exact door width.
