The Kilargo IS7080 is a compact, aesthetically designed door perimeter seal that installs in lieu of the door stop on steel or timber frames (non fire-rated). Its elastomeric gasket closes gaps of 0–10 mm against sound, cold smoke, light and weather, with a decorative cover strip concealing the fixings.

What It's Used For
Use the IS7080 on non fire-rated doors in offices, apartments, hotels and commercial buildings where the frame has no stop – or where the stop is being replaced – and you want an acoustic and draught seal built into the stop itself.
For fire doors or where silicone smoke performance is required, step up to the silicone-gasket IS7080si version, which is fire tested and smoke approved.

What's the difference between the IS7080 and IS7080si?
The IS7080 has a standard elastomeric gasket and suits non fire-rated doors. The IS7080si uses a silicone gasket and is fire tested to AS 1530.4 plus smoke approved to AS 1530.7 - choose the si version for fire doors, smoke doors or hygiene-critical areas.
Where is the IS7080 fitted on the door?
It is fitted around the door frame perimeter - across the head and down both jambs - installed in place of the door stop itself. The door bottom is sealed separately (pair it with a Kilargo automatic door bottom seal or threshold seal for a complete system).
What door gap does the IS7080 seal?
It seals perimeter gaps of 0mm up to 10mm between the door leaf and the frame/stop. Measure your gap with the door closed; if it varies or falls outside this range, an adjustable Kilargo perimeter seal may suit better - call Prime Hardware on 1800 329 028 for advice.
Do I need a long-backset latch with the IS7080?
When fixing to rebated frames of single doors, yes - specify a long-backset door latch so the latch furniture clears the seal.
