The Kilargo IS7130si is a twin-gasket acoustic perimeter seal fitted to door stops of sufficient depth around the head and jambs of single-swing doors. Its two silicone compression gaskets deliver excellent acoustic and air-leakage containment, sealing gaps of 6–8 mm recessed (12–13 mm surface-mounted). It can also be rebated into meeting stiles and door bottoms as a sweep-action seal.

What It's Used For

Specify the IS7130si where acoustic performance is the priority – music rooms, studios, offices, meeting rooms and apartments. The twin-gasket design creates two independent air seals, noticeably improving sound insulation compared with single-gasket perimeter seals.

Its versatility also lets one profile serve as a perimeter seal, meeting-stile seal or door-bottom sweep across a project. A replacement gasket (ISRG7130si) is available to refresh the seal in service.

Acoustic tested — AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 — the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.

Antimicrobial option available. Also offered in an antimicrobial (AM) silicone version, formulated to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould on the gasket surface — specified in hospitals, aged care, laboratories and food-preparation areas.

Not a fire seal. This product is not a fire-rated seal. It is designed for acoustic and air-leakage sealing; select a fire-tested Kilargo perimeter seal where AS 1530.4 fire approval is required. If your door is a fire door, pair it with (or choose) a Kilargo intumescent fire seal tested to AS 1530.4.

Why does the IS7130si have two gaskets?

Sound leaks through any continuous air path. Two independent silicone gaskets create two sealing lines with an air cavity between them, which measurably improves acoustic insulation compared with a single gasket - the same principle as double glazing.

What door gap does the IS7130si seal?

It seals perimeter gaps of 6-8mm (recessed) or 12-13mm (surface-mounted) between the door leaf and the frame/stop. Measure your gap with the door closed; if it varies or falls outside this range, an adjustable Kilargo perimeter seal may suit better - call Prime Hardware on 1800 329 028 for advice.

Can I replace the gaskets when they wear?

Yes - the silicone compression gaskets are replaceable. Order the Kilargo ISRG7130si replacement gasket (sold per metre) and press it into the carrier to restore as-new sealing.

What is the antimicrobial (AM) option?

Selecting the Anti-Microbial option supplies the seal with antimicrobial silicone gaskets, compounded to inhibit bacteria and mould growth on the seal surface - the version specified for hospitals, aged care, laboratories and food-preparation areas.
