The Kilargo IS8036si is a medium-duty automatic door bottom seal that face-fixes to single-action doors, finished with an architectural curved aluminium cover plate that completely conceals the fixings. The spring-loaded mechanism drops the silicone gasket as the door closes, sealing 3–10 mm gaps against fire, smoke, sound and draughts.

How does the IS8036si automatic door bottom seal work?

A spring-loaded mechanism inside the seal lifts the silicone gasket clear of the floor the moment the door opens, so there is no drag or floor wear. As the door closes, an adjustable strike button presses against the door jamb and automatically drops the gasket down onto the floor, sealing the gap under the door.

What's the difference between the IS8035si and IS8036si?

Both are medium-duty automatic bottom seals sealing 3-10mm gaps. The IS8035si can be face-fixed or semi-rebated and covers its screw line with a flexible PVC strip; the IS8036si is face-fix only and wears a curved, architectural aluminium cover plate for a more premium visible finish.

Is the IS8036si fire and smoke rated?

Yes.
