Passage: the latch operates from both sides at all times and does not lock — for hallways, walk-in robes and other doors that don't need privacy. Privacy: locks from the inside with a turn or snib and has an emergency release on the outside — for bathrooms, ensuites and bedrooms. Entrance (cylinder): is key-lockable through an oval cylinder and released from inside — for entry and keyed internal doors.
