What is an exit (panic) device?
It is egress hardware that lets people leave through an emergency-exit or fire door in a single action — pushing the bar or bolt retracts the latch and opens the door immediately, without a key or knob.
Where is it used?
On emergency-exit and fire-rated egress doors in commercial and public buildings, where fast, unobstructed exit is required.
What does cylinder dogging mean?
On dogging models, a key can hold the latch retracted so the door pushes open freely during busy periods; the device re-latches when un-dogged.
Is this finish in stock?
