This Mortice Lock has a pocket cut into the short edge of the door. It allows for a longer and thicker mortise box to slide into the door itself whilst providing superior protection.

Mortice Lock Function: Latch is retracted by knob/lever from either side. Deadbolt can be retracted or extended by a key from the outside or using a turn knob from the inside.

Suitable for sliding doors - especially those which require heavy-duty use in industrial and commercial buildings, institutions, schools, hotels, clubs, hospitals and similar buildings.
