This is a Lockwood Velocity Series (55 mm Small Rose) rose trim — a decorative cover that sits over the 55 mm round rose (58 mm square available) to conceal a larger or oversized prepared hole in the door. It is a cover/trim only: it does not operate the door and is not a functioning handle, turn or latch. Finish: Chrome Plate. Supplied as a pair.
What it's for
Use this trim to tidy the door face when the existing hole is wider than the rose, or when retrofitting over hardware from a previous installation. It hides the cut-out and gives a clean finish around a 55 mm round rose (58 mm square available) set — the working handle, turn or escutcheon is a separate item.

No — this is a rose trim (cover) only. It sits over the rose to conceal a larger or oversized hole in the door and does not operate the door.
