Conforming to the specific requirements of multi-residential developments, the Simplicity Series includes 2 hour fire rating and features two AS1428.1 compliant lever options in both passage and privacy configurations.

The Privacy Lever Sets come complete with privacy latches. The Passage Lever Sets are sold separately from the passage latches for use with both tubular latches and mortice locks. Standard turn knobs and oval cylinder escutcheons are available. Application Suitable for use in multi-residential developments. Designed for use with Simplicity passage lever sets.

What's the difference between passage, privacy and entrance?
Passage: The latch operates from both sides at all times and does not lock. Ideal for hallways, walk-in robes, linen cupboards and other doors that don't need privacy or security. Privacy: Locks from the inside with a turn or push button, with an emergency release on the outside. Designed for bathrooms, ensuites and bedrooms. Entrance: Key-lockable from the outside and released by a turn or button on the inside. Suited to main entry doors and any door that needs keyed security.

Yale products carry a 10-year mechanical warranty; electronic and electrical components are covered for 3 years and keys for 12 months. Batteries, cosmetic/finish damage and coastal corrosion are excluded. Manufactured by ASSA ABLOY Australia under Australian Consumer Law.
