Bundle Guide
Step 1 — Select your door type: Internal doors (living areas, hallways) → Passage. Bathroom or bedroom → Integrated Privacy. Entry or external door → Entrance Set. For the inactive face of a double door → Dummy. Need the lever only to pair with a separately purchased latch? → Leverset Only.
Step 2 — Mortice lock thickness guide (Entrance Sets): The entrance sets include the 1143 mortice lock with a 60mm backset. Check that your door has or can accept a 60mm backset preparation. The 1143 uses a 70mm euro cylinder (included in entrance set variants).
Step 3 — Double door set: For a pair of doors where only one leaf locks, combine one entrance set (active leaf) with one dummy set (10023.D) on the inactive leaf.
Step 4 — Hinge guide: For fire-rated door applications, ensure your hinges are also fire rated and certified to the same standard as the door set. Contact Prime Hardware on 1800 329 028 for fire-rated hinge recommendations.
Step 5 — Finish: All six Futura finishes are the same price. Choose Matt Black (BLK) to coordinate with a monochromatic interior scheme, or match to adjacent fittings in Brushed Nickel, Graphite Nickel, Satin Brass, or White.
