Zanda Kent Lever Handle – Jura Elite Range | 65mm Rose

Zanda Kent Door Lever Handle from the Jura Elite range. 65mm rose — retrofittable over existing holes. 7-year warranty. Available in passage, privacy and dummy configurations. Pairs with the Kent Knox Multi-Function Entrance Set (9153) for a complete entry door solution. Available in four finishes.

Why Choose the Zanda Kent Lever?

The Kent's standout specification is its 65mm rose — larger than the standard 53–55mm rose used across most lever ranges. The larger rose covers a wider area on the door face, making it ideal for retrofitting over existing holes, worn surfaces, or oversized bore holes without patching or re-boring. Pair it with the Kent Knox Entrance Set (9153) for a fully integrated, multi-function entry door solution across four coordinating finishes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the 65mm rose different from a standard lever rose?

Most lever handles use a 53–55mm rose — the standard size for new door installations with correctly sized bore holes. The Kent uses a 65mm rose, which is 10–12mm larger in diameter. This larger footprint covers a wider area on the door face, making it the ideal choice for retrofitting over existing holes that are larger, worn, or off-centre from the original installation. It eliminates the need to patch or re-bore the door, making the Kent particularly popular in renovation projects where older hardware has left visible marks or oversized holes on the door face.

What configurations is the Kent Lever available in?

The Kent Lever is available in three configurations: Passage (9150) — free passage with no locking function, suited to hallways and living areas; Privacy (9151) — internal privacy lock for bathrooms and bedrooms; and Dummy (9152.D) — a fixed non-functional lever for wardrobes and inactive doors. For entrance door applications, pair the Kent lever with the Kent Knox Entrance Set (9153) — a multi-function lockset that includes deadbolt, snib, and passage modes in one unit.

What is the Kent Knox Entrance Set (9153) and do I need it?

The Kent Knox Entrance Set (9153) is a multi-function lockset designed specifically to pair with the Kent lever handle. It combines three functions in one unit — a keyed deadbolt for maximum security when the home is unoccupied, a snib lock for internal security without needing a key to exit, and a passage mode for free access when the home is busy. If you are fitting the Kent on an entry door, the Knox entrance set is the purpose-built companion. For internal doors only, the passage (9150) or privacy (9151) lever configurations are sufficient without the Knox.

Is the Kent Lever suitable for a renovation or door hardware upgrade?

Yes — the Kent is specifically designed with renovation and retrofit projects in mind. The 65mm rose is larger than the standard size, intentionally sized to cover the marks, wear, and larger bore holes common on older doors. If you are upgrading hardware in an established home and the existing holes are too large for a standard rose to cover cleanly, the Kent resolves that problem without any patching or carpentry work. It is one of the most practical retrofit levers in the Zanda range for this reason.

What finishes is the Kent Lever available in?

The Kent is available in four finishes: Brushed Nickel (BN) — classic, versatile, suits most interior palettes; Graphite Nickel (GN) — sophisticated dark metallic tone bridging brushed nickel and matt black; Matt Black (BLK) — bold contemporary finish suited to industrial, minimalist, and Japandi interiors; and Satin Brass (SB) — warm golden tone popular in contemporary, Hamptons, and transitional homes. All four finishes are available across all three lever configurations and the Kent Knox entrance set.

What does the 7-year warranty cover?

The Zanda Kent Lever is backed by a 7-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use conditions. For full warranty terms and conditions, refer to Zanda's warranty documentation or contact our team at Prime Hardware on 1800 329 028.

What is the Jura Elite range and how does it differ from other Zanda ranges?

The Jura Elite range is a Zanda product family positioned for practical, value-driven residential hardware with reliable specifications. The Kent's larger 65mm rose and coordinating Knox entrance set make it a particularly well-thought-out system for homes being upgraded or renovated. It sits alongside other Zanda ranges such as Futura (fire rated, multi-finish, commercial grade) and Astron (premium solid brass, high-specification residential). If you need fire rating, AS1428 compliance, or longer warranty periods, consider the Futura or Astron ranges. For a straightforward retrofit or upgrade lever with a well-matched entrance set, the Jura Elite Kent is a practical and complete solution.
