What does retrofittable mean?

The Aldo's 65mm rose is larger than many standard roses, so it can cover the marks and fixing holes left by previously installed hardware. This makes it a practical upgrade when replacing old handles without needing to patch or repaint the door.

Which function do I need?

Choose Passage (9136) for non-locking doors like bedrooms and hallways. Choose Privacy (9137) for bathrooms and ensuites — it locks from the inside with an emergency release outside. Choose Entrance (9134) for keyed front and back doors. Choose Dummy (9138.D) for a fixed pull with no latch, such as a wardrobe or fixed panel.
